FEDERAL HOCKEY CLUB.
. ~ . March 28th. , A preliminary meeting of the Federal ! Hockey Club was held last night at Opie's rooms There was a fair attendance of intending players, the unanim- . ous opimon being that a strong effort should now be made to revive all kinds of .sport. It was therefore decided that the annual meeting be called for TuesI day, April Bth, and that in the mean-" time a committee consisting of the following—Messrs Beattie, -Hockey Web- ' ley and Hnrris—should endeavour to ; enlist sufficient players to put both a j senior and a junior team in the field : Ihe committee is to report progress to the annual meeting. There are still a number of members on active service who should be home in time for the season's play. Out of the total strength of the Club in the 1914 season, only three members-(two class B and one not passed) failed to ; reach the front. Of those serving four | made the.great sacrifice—Messrs'*Mul- ; lany, Hollyman, White and Ingram.
