Arrangements for the Peace celebrations at Upper Moxitere are "well in hand. An esthusiastic committee, representing Tasman, Mapua, Harakeke, Mahana, Neudorf and Upper Moutere has been working assiduously for months to make the day a memorable one, especially for the children. An outstanding feature and specially to be commended will be" the inter-school competitions, w.hieh should not only be a great attraction to the young folk buE also do much as years go by (the idea is to make *• the event an annual fixture) to promote increased. '. efficiericy throughout the school districts mentioned. Already the committee is assured of the biggest gathering ever held at Upper Moutere. .
