ANNUAL DISTIUBUTION OF
BONUS
The annual bonus distribution is today brought prominently before the members 'of tho A.M.P. Society by the issue of the 'bonus certificates; if or the year ending December 31st, 1914. The rash surplus available) for distribution was £1,026,130, and this will provide reversionary bonuses of about £1,800,----090. This is the first occasion on which the Society has distributed over one million sterling in cash profits, and it must no doubt be highly gratifying to tho members. The- total policies in force on the New Zealand branch at 31st last in tho ordinary department, was 47,350, assuring _ £16,----734,021, ine-iuding bonus additions, while in the industrial department there wore 22,737 policies in force, assuring -£■838.93:?. During the year 1914 the Isc-v/'Zealand branch issued 3,624 policies, assuring ,£i,2!1,075 in the ordinary depaitment. and 4,747 policies, assuring '£193.049 in tho industrial department, which taken together is equal to an assurance of ab'ou!) £1 Ss 8d per head of the whole population of the Dominion.
The total funds of tho society on the books of the New Zealand branch at December 31s1;. last amount to £5,261,----212, and the total income of the branch from its ordinary and industrial departments combined is £743,427 per itiuinm.
