RUNNING.
Three running events were decided, two between pupils and ex-pupils of the College, and one for old boys only. The last-named event (75 yards) attracted a very large entry of old boys of all ages, and the eoTitest was most exciting, C. H. Broad (1884-1892) defeating N. Adams (1893-01) by inches, with C. R. Fell (1893-01) close up third. Tho 100 yards handicap for past and present pupils was decided after two heats had been run. In the first heat P. Boyes (4yds) (old boys) was first with Barnett (syds) (present boys) second. In tho soebnd heat N. Vercoe (lyd) (old boys) was first, C Mead (2yds) (old boys) was second,-and K. Saxon (scr.) (old boys) 3. The final was won.by N. Vorcoe, with Boyes 'second and Saxon third. The old boys' teams also finished first and second in the relay race, in which four teams took part. The winning team consisted of Mead, Vercoe, Everett, and Saxon. The second team was, Robertson, Harley, Usher and Boyes. The College teams were: Dnunmond, Chaytor, Bron and Barnott; and Hudson, Whitwell, Everett and Smith.
