CAPSIZE OF A WAGGON.

THE DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED. Dunedin, March 26. The Lawrence correspondent of tlm "Star" states that a serious accident happened this morning to Geo. Welch, of Beaumont, whilst driving a covemi in light waggon to Lawrence. He was on top of the Big Hill cutting when a heavy gale of wind was blowing, ami this overturned the vehicle,and hurled Welch from his seat. Ho fell on his head on the hard metalled road and was apparently dragged a short distance till the horses were stopped. When picked up Welch was insensible! and he was remoijedto thoTuapeka hospital. Dr Sutherland, who dressed his wounds, is not yet in a position to say whether Welch will recover or not.
