[United Peess Association.] Dunedin, March 27. A lad name<l Henry Joseph Hand, aged 15J years, broke into several shops at Milton, and stole some goods. In addition on Saturday at Fairfax he overtook a young woman on the road, and tried to snatch her handbag containing He was wearing a mask and the woman noticed he was pointing a\ revolver, at her, and sho screamed for help. The youth then ran off. Detective Mitchell and Constable McKae, of Milton, traced him, and in the afternoon gave him cliase betwron Fairfax and the beach, and caught him "When caught he was armed with a seven chambered revolver, a sheath knife, and had a mask. He will also be charged with stealing a horse, saddle and a bridle.
