SHOOTING,
A team from the Nelson Defecce^, Rifle Club journeyed to the Brightwater range on Saturday last, to fire a match against the Waimea South Rifle Culb, and were cordially welcomed by Secretary F. Robertson and a very pleasant clay was spent. The match resulted in favour of the Defence Club team by 18 points. Tho weather was unfavorable for good shooting, a trickie .wind blowing all day, The ranges were 200, 500 and GOO yards, seven shots at each, one optional sighter ten mon aside. Tho following are the scores.
