ODD FELLOWSHIP.
LOYAL NELSON LODGE. Th half-yearly summoned meeting of the above Lodge waa held in the Oddfellows' Hall last night, Bro. A. Crofts presiding; find thei-e being It very good attendance of Brethren present. From the balance-sheet and Auditors' report it appears that the total value of the Lodge is £4071 -is Bd, an increase of £55 5s 4d. duuing the half year. Sick pay amounted to £185 11s Bd. The membership stands at 234, being an inere.ns' of four in the six months. Bro. J. 0. liockmann was elected a Trustee. A grant of £5 from the Benevolent Fund was made for the relief fund of the San Francisco Lodges. Bros. F. H. Hounseil and W. H. Kobertson vvere elected delegates to the District Meeting, to be held in Nelson on August 9tb. Bro. K W. Smith gave an account of the la.;e Mr Seddon's Annuity Scheme With respect to Friendly Societies as lftid before the rceent Conference of Friendly Societies in Wellington. Qjring the evening the Provincial Grand Master, Bro. A. Day, accompanied by Bro. G. Hammond, Provincial Deputy Grand Master, and Bro. A. R. Smart, Provincial C.S. . paid an official visit, and were accorded Lodge honors. The following officers were installed by the Prov. Grand Master: — G. M. , Bro. A. Cross; N.G., Bro. A. J. Pellew : V.G., Bro. ,J. P. Robinson: E.S., Bro. C. Hansen.
