LONDON MARKET ADVICES.
Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London agents, Messrs Dalgety aud Co., Ltd., dated the Sth instant:— Butter: Market unsettled. Tbe Copenhagen official quotation is unchanged. The future is difficult to forecast. The total imports of butter into the United Kingdom for tho wnek ending 3rd inßtant amounted to 112,000 as compared with 69,000 cwt for the corresponding period of last year. More demand for unsalted than salted. The market is depressed in consequence of heavy arrivals? Under the circumstances c. i.f, buyers show no disposition whatever to operate. Frozen Meat: New Zealand mutton ! and lamb, market dull. Beef, higher by i£d per lb. The advance is due to small receips of chilled Argentine. 'Skina: Merino sheepskins are higher byj par to J^d. Fine crossbred, higher by %&. Coarse crossbred, higher by J^d to Tallow: Since our last telegram prices are 6d per cwt lower.
