Mt and Mrs K. Pitt, of Sydney, were guests at Te Awamutu Hotel during the week-end. Among the guests at Te Awamutu Hotel during the week-end were Messrs Stoddart and Kerr, of Wanganui. Dr and Mrs Jstalenberg, of Winnipeg, Canada, were guests at Te Awamutu Hotel during the week-end. They are on a tour of the North Island. Mr Droingoof, of Auckland, was a guest at the Commercial Hotel over the week-end. He visited Karapiro on Saturday to see the famous Aromoho team, of which he is an old rower, competing in the Dominion rowing championships. The Hon. F. Jones, accompanied by his daughter, was a guest at the Commercial Hotel last • Saturday night. Mr Jones was also accompanied by his brother, who, with his wife, had recently arrived from Australia. The party left for Wellington on Sunday morning. Mr Vivian B. Gittos was admitted by Mr Justice Stanton on Friday last as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, on the motion of Mr J. B. Johnston. Mr Gittos is a son of Mr and Mrs V. L. Gittos, of Te Awamutu, and received his preUniversity education at the Te. Awamutu College.
