TE AWAMUTU ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING HELD A meeting of the Te Awamutu Schools’ Sports Association held on Friday night was well attended and the president, Mr N. F. Rigby, presided. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr J. E. Elliott; vicepresidents, Messrs Rigby, Coleman and Still; secretary, A. E. Wishart; assistant secretary, C. R. Brown; auditor, Mr Dunwoodie; emergency committee, president, secietary, assistant secretary. Father McGrath and Mr Coleman. The president’s report disclosed that the association has had an active year. The annual sports usually held in February were abandoned owing to the prevailing epidemic, but successful Rugby football, basketball and tennis tournaments were held during the year. A swimming carnival is to be held early in March. Final arrangements for the primary schools’ sports to be held in March were made.
