PATRIOTIC DANCE

TOWN HALL FUNCTION The usual fortnightly dance under the auspices of the Te Awamutu Patriotic Committee was held on Saturday night in the Town Hall, a large crowd attending. Excellent music was provided by O’Brien’s Orchestra, and Aircraftman Hutison, and Miss Lawry played extras. Mr Les. Armstrong carried out the duties of M.C. in his usual efficient manner.

The first monte carlo waltz was won by Miss E. Weightman and Mr R. Whyte, and the second by Miss J. Fitzpatrick and Mr A. Vette.
