PATERANGI E.P.S.

MANY JOIN ORGANISATION A public meeting of residents of the Paterangi district was held in the Paterangi Hall on Monday night, when Mr F. J. Ryburn was chairman and there was a very good attendance. The ladies held a separate meeting at which Mrs F. J. Ryburn presided. Mr A. Emett, of Ohaupo, upon invitation, gave an enlightening lecture on Evacuation and Communication in the event of enemy action. He was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for attending and giving the benefit of the experience he has gained as Controller of the Rural Districts. Subsequently enrolment forms were distributed, and many new members joined the organisation.
