LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

THE NGAHAPE BRANCH. The Ngahape branch of the League of Mothers held its May meeting at the residence of Mrs D. Mclntyre, and was presided over by Mrs D. Mclntyre, vice-president. The meeting opened with the League prayers and motto. Apologies for absence were received from several members. After business of correspondence were dealt with the Prayer for Peace was repeated. A very interesting demonstration of poker work was given by Mrs G. Moncrieff - Wright, of Kio Kio, a former member of the branch. A dainty afternoon £ea served by the hostess, brought the afternoon to a close.
