OHAUPO LADIES’ CLUB. Competitions played by members ?f the Ohaupo Ladies’ Golf Club recently resulted as follows:—lnnes trophy, best medal round over 36 holes: Miss A. Howe, net 139; Miss O. Moreland, 144; Mrs C. Kinsella, 149. Miss A. Howe again holds the Sole Button with net 6’6. The following is the draw for the first qualifying round of the senior and junicr championships:—Mrs S. In the semi-final of the Te Awamutu Golf Club’s Reid Cup competition the following players meet: G. Wood plays R. Mexted, and C. Blundell plays J. Keeley. In the semi-final of the junior competition C. Bowden plays A. McGregcr, and E. Missen plays Turnbull. The second round of the Storey Rosebowl competition, to be played next week-end, is as follows:—Wiseman v. Babbage, R. Brown v. Parker, Glanville v. Mexted, Craig v. K. Cairns, Beedell v. J. Wallace, W. J. Craik v. Ball, Blundell v. Barnett, J. Brown v. Griffen. TE AWAMUTU v. PUTARURU. The match at Putaruru between Te Awamutu and Putaruru teams last week-end proved thoroughly enjoyable, and keen finishes were the order cf the day. Results were, with Te Awamutu players named first:— H. McDonald lost to Morris, 2 and 1; K. W. Gibbs beat E. Pearse, 2 and 1; J. Sterritt beat Burkett, 3 and 1; M. Barnett beat Tomalin, 3 and 1; 3. Wcod beat Mason 3 and 2; Double lost to Gordon 4 and 3; J. B. Muirlost to Radd 4 and 2; Wallace heat Freeman 2 up; M. Tombs beat Robinson 4 and 3; Babbage lost to Bicknell 2 and 1: P. Glanville beat Bailey 5 and 3; J. Keeley lost to Spraggen 5 and 4.
