MILITARY SERVICE.
POSITION OF SECOND DIVISION. MEN. All Second Division men now under orders for the April draft —old thirtyeight, now fortieth—must be transferfed to the end of May draft. —old fortieth, now for'ty-second —and their leave without pay must Bo extended accordingly. This order does not refer to married First Division men at present under orders to proceed to camp with the April draft.
All Second Division men classed Cl and at present under orders to proceed to the Cl camp in February, March, April, or May, will now have their leave without pay. extending to the date of the concentration of the Cl draft in June.
Consequent on the alteration , in dates of arrival in camp caused by the transfer of Second Division men in camp caused by the transfer of Second Division men from the April to the May draft, and also by the fact that the April reinforcement—old thirtyninth, now forty-first draft—is being found in camp, many men will, doubtless, have made their arragements to accord with the orders which they have already received and they may apply for permission to proceed to camp in accordance with such order. Group commanders, therefore, arc authorised to permit men now transferred to a later draft to proceed to camp on their original date if they are satisfied that undue hardship will be caused by withholding such permission
