SUPREME COURT.
IN BANCO. EASTERBROOK v. HOPKINS. In the Supreme Court this morning, his Honour Mr Justice Denniston, sitting in banco, heard further argument in Hie application made for a new trial in the case of Kather■ne Christina Easterbrook (Mr S. G. Raymond, K.C., with him Mr J. R. Cuningham) v. 'William Allan Hopkins (Mr M. J. Gresson). In this case the jury awarded the plaintiff £•115 damages. Mr Gresson moved for a new trial on the grounds that the verdict was against the weight of evidence. Decision was reserved.
