SOMME NERVES.

NEW GERMAN COMPLAINT.

FRIGHTENED OF THE BOMB THROWERS. Renter's Telegram). PETROGRAD, October 3. Reuter's correspondent at the western headquarters reports that we captured a Bavarian battalion order which shows that the enemy is suffering from nerves. The lieuten-ant-colonel plaintively rebukes his men as follows:—"I have got an impression that a few Englishmen, by bomb-throwing from their trenches, can thoroughly frighten a crowd of Bavarians. If we put an unnecessary barrage on the enemy he retaliates, and we suffer. Therefore this fright on the Somme front must be dispelled."
