BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL OUTCLASSED. Marist Bros. Old Boys had no difficulty in disposing of Boys' High School, although for a brief interval School had much tiie better of (he play. Neither team was up to strength. The greens attacked hotly and from a scrum by the school line Fitzgerald wormed his way over. His kick failed. High School rallied, aggressive work by the forwards, keeping Marist defending. Then followed a period of give'and take play, in which faulty handling by the School backs spoilt several chances. Lilley crossed the School line, and Fitzgerald converted. Marist again looked dangerous, Fitzgerald being held upon the line. The greens had attained a decided superiority, Donohue running through the opposition, and scoring behind the posts. Fitzgerald converted the try. A moment later Filly scored and the spell ended Marisls Hi, Boys' High School nil. Second Half. On resuming Marisls continued the offensive, D. Fitzgerald scoring at the coiner. The kick failed. From outside the quarter mark, Donohue drop-kicked a goal. The same player scored immediately afterwards, the major points being added by Fitzgerald. From now on Marisls controlled the plav, tries being scored by Lilley (2), E. Fitzgerald (1), and l>. Fitzgerald (1). Two were converted by E. Fitzgerald.
