In the absence of' the .;Oppositi6ln, Bills were rushed through. ; , The Senate has passed Bills, authorising the issue of Treasury bills, sanctioning an £18,000,000 loan, the raising and expending of £2,000,000 to construct a railway from Kalgoorlie to Port Augusta, and the War Pensions Bill.
