DOUBLE TRAGEDY.
MAN AND WOMAN FOUND DEA3X
Pres* A .isolation. NAPIER, November 13. A tragedy, occurred at Clive this afternoon. The bodies of a married woman named Georgina Anthony, wife / of Alfred Anthony, a wool-classer, and a man named- Norman Richards, cmployed at the Pakipaki freezing works, were found lying on a bed in Anthony 's house, each with the arteries of an arm severed at the elbow. Mrs Anthony was to have left by the mail train on a visit to her - lives at Castlecliff, Wanganui, and her husband bade her an affectionate goodbye at 7 a.ni., before going to work. On returning at six o'clock in the evening he saw her hat on the table, and looked in the rooms for her, finding her and Richards, as stated. Both bodies were still warm. A razor was lying on a table by the bedside. There were no signs of a struggle. . The woman left a note, but the contents will not be disclosed • until the inquest, which will be held ill the morn- : nig. ■ . •
