THE BARRACKS' FIRE.
DEPARTMENTAL ENQUIRY. A Departmental enquiry into the fire at King Edward Barracks on Friday night was commenced to-day before Captain Bum. The enquiry was not open to the Press. It is . understood, - however, that the evidence does not support any suspicion of incendiarism. A family group would be splendid to send Home for Xmas.
