* (Before Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.) INSOBRIETY. Edward Crancli and Richard Johnstone, second offenders for drunkenness, were each lined 10/- or 48 hours' imprisonment. John Wren and George Judge, for having had a street fight on Saturday night, were each fined 20/- or seven .days' imprisonment for - their breach of the peace. INDECENCY. Louis Kernahan was charged with having committed an indecent act in a public place, and was remanded until, next Wednesday. A SERIOUS CHARGE. Stanley Austin Joseph Suckling," charged with having had carnal knowledge with a girl under 12 years of age, was remanded until Friday. CIVIL CASES. Judgment was given for plaintiff by default in the following civil actions: Weeks, Ltd., v. G. Shaw, £4 12/6; W. Strange and Co. v, R. F. Spensley ; £5 0/7; Henry Berry and Co. v. Juliaa. Paitry, £1 10/-;. Mason, Struthers, and Co., Ltd., v. H. Bachelor, £5 11/6; same v. Alexander Annan, £2 15/1; Browi*, Little, and Co. v. James Fong Moy, £1 19/-; William Drinnan v. John Dynes, £6 16/4.
