ADDINGTON MARKET.

A FULL YARD. The Addington Market was resumed again to-day, after a lapse of a fortnight on account of National Week. Generally the market was very full, fat sheep especially being well represented. Store sheep sold rather below the values of a fortnight ago. Fat cattle sold about equal to last week, and in other branches late rates were maintained. STORE SHEEP. There was quite an'average yarding of store sheep, but from the commencement the sale dragged, and it was only at lower, values than those ruling a fortnight ago that sales were effected. A big proportion of the yarding was hoggets, the bulk being rather, below average quality. The ewes yarded, with a few exceptions, were of indifferent quality. Vendors were evidently prepared to accept lower values,, and the poorer classes dropped most. There were several lots of ewe .hog-.-gets that were sold at fully 4/- per head below the prices paid for similar sheep a month ago. Values were as follow:-—, Hoggets, good, 13/- to 13/6. Hoggets, fairly good, 11/- to 12/-. Hoggets, small, 8/- to 9/3. Hoggets, ewes, good, 15/- to 15/11. Six and 8-tooth ewes, good lines, 19/to 19/9. Aged ewes, 8/- to 9/6. Full and failing-mouth ewes, to 11/-. Four and six-tooth wethers, 15/-. Better sorts, to 17/4 to 15/6. Two and four-tooth wethers, 14/10. Dalgety and Co. sold: . . FAT SHEEP. # A full yarding of fat sheep came forward, and at the commencement the prices ruling at the previous sale were well maintained. FAT CATTLE. ■* There were 344 head •of fat cattle yarded, as compared with .243 at the last sale, and 219 on the 29th"nit. The firm prices of the. iast sale were well maintained.
