MODERATE LEAGUE BUSY. * A telegram, of which the following is- a copy, has been received fcy the lion, secretary of the Moderate League, in answer to one sent to the Right Hon. W. F. Massey, on the 14th inst.: — "1 have duly received your telegram of 14th inst., and I note the views of your League in regard to the date of holding the General Elections. The matter will haVe the careful consideration of the Government." The committee has sent a further telegram, as follows: — "Thanks for telegram. My committee very, anxious to know whether Government will make special provision for members-Expeditionary Force to record votes on licensing issue before leaving.
