LATE COMMERCIAL.
TO-DAY'S POULTRY MARKET. Another entry of over 2000 birds concluded the Easter sales to-day. Eome excellent prices were realised for turkeys, up to 40/- per pair. Table chickens sold from 3/6 to 7/10, hens 2/- to 4/6, pullets 3/3 to 8/6, ducks 3/6 to 6/2, geese 5/- to 8/-, turkeys .12/- to 40/- per pair. THE EGG MARKET. There was a sharp rise in the " egg market to-day, consequent on the demand for Easter. Canterbury Egg Circle eggs (first-grade) realised up to 2/4 a dozen, seconds 1/10, stores 1/0 to 1/7.
