AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.

SURPLUS EXPECTED. Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 7. At a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Exhibition, the secretary reported that the total receipts to date had been £72,256 and the total expenditure £63,537, leaving a credit balance of £B7IB. The president said there were a number, of liabilities to set against the balance; probably £5500 would cover them. It would be impossible to give a balance-sheet until the Exhibition was closed, but it was certain that the guarantors would not be called upon for anything. As to the surplus, it would depend entirely on the amount realised for the buildings, which hail cost the oxecutive £25,000.
