FEILDING STOCK SALE
Press Association FEILDING, Friday. At the Feilding stock sale today fat lambs showed an advance of Is 6d to 2s a head, but grown fat sheep were still at last week’s rates. Breeding ewes also sold better. Dairy cattle came forward in larger numbers than for several previous sales. Very good prices were offered. Following are the prices: Fat Lambs. —Prime heavy woolly black faces, 19s 3d; B.F. primest, 18s 3d to 19s; good, 17s to 17s 3d; medium, 15s 9d to 16s lid: lighter 14s to 15s Id; fat two-tooths, good, 19s 5d to 21s. Fat Ewes. —Primest, 19s to 19s 9d; very good, 17s 3d; medium, 14s Id; poor, 12s 7d to 13s 4d. Fat Wethers. —Prime, 21s 7d to 23s 2d; good, 20s; F. and F., 12s lOd. Store Sheep.—Four and six-tootli ewes, running with S.D. rams, 17s 8d to 18s Id; four and five-year ewes, running with S.D. rams, 16s; very good line of two-tooth to five-year ewes, running with S.D. rams, 24s Id; B.F. lambs, 11s Id; wether lambs, 12s; F. and F. gwes, poor, 7s Id. Dairy Cattle.—Springing cows, best. £10; others, good condition, £7 17s 6d to £8 10s; poor ahd aged cows, £ upwards; springing heifers in very good condition, £l2 10s; good lines, £8 to £S 8s; pedigree Jersey heifer, springing, £l4. Store Cattle.—Weaner heifers, Jersey, good, £3 10s; other nondescript, 30s to £ 212 s 6d; store cows, to £3 8s; red cows, running with bull, £2 15s to £3 2s 6d; bulls, £S.
