PETROL STOLEN
REMAND OF TWO SUSPECTS Arrested by Constable Boag at 2 a.m. today, Percy Knaggs and Patrick Leopold Huggins were charged at the Police Court this morning with the theft of 30 gallons of petrol valued at £3 and belonging to William Iddeson. The offence was said to have been committed at New Lynn on Saturday. " Sub-Inspector McCarthy asked for a remand, and bail was granted each accused in one surety of £SO. Pleas of not guilty were entered by both accused. It was mentioned that there were two other men concerned in the charge. /
