WAITEM AT A LADIES’ CLUB Following is the draw for the second round of the eclectic competition to bo played by members of the Waitemata Ladies’ Golf Club on Wednesday: Mrs. Hay v. Mrs. Clouston, Mrs. Hogan v. Mrs. Atkinson, Mrs. Prime v. Airs. Bayly, Mrs. Nevill v. Miss McGlashan, Airs. Goldwater v. Miss Macindoe, Mrs. Walsh v. Mrs. Harper, Mrs. Beaumont v. Mrs. Lewin, Miss Hall v. Miss Nevill. The second round of the C grade eclectic will also be played. Following is the draw:—Miss Gribbin v. Miss Williams, Miss King v. Mrs. Woods, Mrs. Spicer v. Miss C. King, Mrs. Gabites v. Miss Mason, Mrs. Foster v. Miss Nora Mason, Mrs. Downer v. Mrs. Godding, Miss Purser v. Miss Dueler, Mrs. McDougal v. Mrs. Prosser, Mrs. Chapman v. Mrs. Lettington, Mrs. A. H. Woods v. Miss O’Connor. The play-off for the medal round resulted in a win for Miss M. Moulton. The result of the last four-ball, bestball bogey played was as follows: Airs. Beaumont and Miss Mason. 3 up; Mrs. Clouston and Mrs. Foster, 2 up; Mrs. Gooding and Mrs. Lewin, 1 up. Mixed foursomes will be played today. Partners can be arranged at the clubhouse. TITIRANG! LADIES’ CLUB An open day will be held by tlie Titirangi Ladies’ Golf Club on Thursday, July 4. A medal handicap will be played in the morning and Canadian foursomes in the afternoon, players to enter in pairs. The handicap limit for both matches is 30. There will also be continuous putting and approaching and putting competitions. Entries will close on July 1. The best cards returned in the L.G.U. match yesterday were as follows: — Seniors: Miss Cornaga, 98, 20—*8; Mrs. Alison, 93, 13—80; Mrs. Shirley, 97, 17— 80; Mrs. O’Leary, 99, 17—82; Mrs. Scott, 102. 20—82. Juniors: Miss Tarr, 104, 26—78; Mrs. Spinley, 114, 32 —82; Mrs. White, 107, 24—83.
