LABOUR BACKS UNITEDS’ POLICY MR. CHAPMAN’S OPINION Press Association GISBORNE, Sunday. Speaking at the annual dinner of the Gisborne Printers’ Union last evening Mr. C. H. Chapman, Labour member of Parliament for Wellington North, said he welcomed the recent declaration of policy made by the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. The Labour members of Parliament supported a policy which would prevent the aggregation of landed estates, and they would also be found supporting genuine measures for placing the people on the land and providing cheap money.
