LIGHT SUPPLY FAILS
TOO DRY AT WESTPORT Press Association WESTPORT, Sunday. Owing to the dry conditions that have prevailed since the beginning of the year, Lake Rochfort, the source of Westport’s electric light and power, has dried up, with the result that the town was thrown into darkness last evening. It is in a similar state tonight. Most of the people who installed electric lighting in their homes and business places had the gas fittings taken out at the time, and had to resort to candles and other indifferent lights when the electric supply failed.
