AT DIXIELAND

Dixieland was very bright on Saturday evening, when a large number oi dancers spent a jolly evening at the popular cabaret. Mr. Harry Xeilson and his orchestra i played with their usual vivacity, and | an added attraction had been arranged | in the form of a ballet featuring Miss Gwenth MacXaughton. Mrs. Noel Airey, moonlight blue and silver georgette frock. Mrs. R. B. Ross, lido blue chiffon frock embroidered with sequins. Airs. J. Kealy, midnight blue chiffon frock with uneven hem. Airs. N. D. YE OLDE PIRATE SHIPPE Yo Olde Pirate Shippe, Alilford, was gay on Saturday evening, when a throng of dancers enjoyed the music supplied by the versatile Pirates* Orchestra. Airs. A. Collins, black satin . charmeuse gown. Airs. Allnutt, wistaria mauve beaded chiffon frock. Airs. A. C. AlcDonald, black chiffon frock, embroidered with silver paillettes and beads. Atrs. McLennon chiffon frock of palest flesh pink. Atrs. Napier, gown of lido blue georgette, embroidered with beads. Atiss Eileen Conway, frock of ivory georgette. Aliss Armstrong, gown of wistaria mauve georgette, embroidered with silver beads. To repel mosquitos, mix loz spirits of camphor, loz oil of citronella, and j£oz oil of cedar. Sprinkle or spray mixture on a towel, and hang it at the head of each bed.
