The Canterbury College Board of governors uanimously decided that i brass tablet suitably inscribed should be placed in the College Hall n memory of the late Alexander 'William Bickerton, Professor Emeritus of the Canterbury College, and that the ashes of the late professor, which had been forwarded from England, be deposited in a cavity behind the tablet.
