CITY BATHS POPULAR
FIGURES FOR SEASON Over 123,000 people paid cash for admission to the three city baths during the past season. In reports to the City Council last evening the season’s figures were given as follows: Hobson Street: 21,263 men, 13,165 women, 23,737 children. The slipperbaths figures were: Men 7,631; women 1,271. Total revenue, £1,795 7s lid. Parnell: 13,518 men, 7,280 women, 14,435 children. Total revenue, £289 0s 2d. Shelly Beach: 12,987 men, 10,247 women, 12,589 children. Revenue £306 10s 7d. Fuel used at Hobson Street cost £373 16s, and the cost of chlorine used in the various baths was given as £44 Is.
