GOODBYE TO MR. JORDAN

PRESENTATION ON MONDAY A meeting of the Jordan Testimonial Committee was held in Onehunga last evening, and decided to make a public presentation to Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P. on the eve of his departure for Canada, at the Foresters’ Theatre, Onehunga, at 8 p.m. on Monday next. Several representatives of the local bodies in the Manukau electorate have consented to address the meeting, and the Onehunga Citizens’ Band, together with a number of well-known vocalists will render musical items during the evening. The presentation of a well-filled wallet will be made to Mr. Jordan by the Mayor of Onehunga, Mr. W. C. Coldicutt, who will preside.
