YOUNG MAORI PARTY
NOW SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED POLICY IN PREPARATION (From Our Own Correspondent.) WANGANUI, To-day. As a result of the Hui held during the Maori tennis championships the Young Maori Party is looking forward to making good progress on the West Coast. That a great deal of machinery has been provided and set in motion is not generally recognised. The policy has to be fixed for meeting West Coast needs, quite apart from the wider scope of commercial and political endeavour. Small committees are giving careful consideration to these details since the Hui ended. Now the foundation is in sight for a definite purpose along the lines of progress.
