Petrol Stolen From Fire Engine.

' When the Winton fire brigade received ; a call to a minor outbreak the firemen i discovered that the petrol had been stolen | from the tank of the fire engine. A lorry j had to be borrowed to tow the engine to i the fire, which was quelled by a bucket | brigade. j The occurrence was reported to a bor- • oug'h council meeting and it was stated ' that it had been arranged for the future I that a fireman would sleep at the stai tion.
