Watj son's statement that the master bakers' j assessors had not signed the agreement ■ reached in conciliation proceedings "because their ends had been served by the i price of bread being raised" is jriven by ; Mr. D. E. Dustin, one of the assessors I in the dispute. | Mr. Dustin says that during the penultimate stages of the proceedings the employers' representatives offered certain wages, with provisos, one of which Mr. Watson has since repudiated; consequently several of the assessors feel that they have been let down and refuse to sign.
