TARANAKI CLUB RUGBY.
Complication Caused By Saturday's Postponement i FIXTURE COMMITTEE TO MEET. j I i The cancellation of inter-club games i due to the necessity of holding a replay of the Taranald championship , final on Saturday has caused a some- i what complicated position in the nor- ' thern division. The Taranaki Rugby j (.'nion's fixture committee will meet j either to-day or to-mrorow to arrange j the final fixtures.
Next Saturday's senior games, if it is decided to proceed, will include a match between Tukapa and Ciltton. [f Clifton wins the game it will bo level on the ladder with Stratford as northern division runner-up. On the decision consequently hangs the in-tcr-nlvision lunncrs-up match for the Alt' West Shield between Hawera and' cither Stratford or Clifton. It is felt that the races at New Plymouth on Saturday may' result in a difficulty in fielding teams and this factor complicates an already complex situation. The union, however, intends to continue if it is at all possible.
