Mrs Baden Bellringcr entertained the Little Theatre Players Reading Club last night, the occasion being the closing of the reading circle for the season. Mrs Bellringer received her guests in a very charming frock of aquamarine shanlaine with organ die trimmings. Those present were |Mr and Mrs N. H. Moss, Mr and | Mrs R. Carry or, Mr and Mi's von 1 Stunner, Mr and Mrs L. Wynyard, Misses Maisie Smart, Molly and Mona Femmel, Pat Brown, Cartwright, (2), Margaret Phillips, Messrs J. SheP herd, H. Goodman, D. Benjamin, S. Calcott, R. Hinton. After the reading of the three act play _ Shcppe, j there were games and dancing, and . Mr Shepherd, who has been the en ergetic secretary to the reading club, I was presented' with a handsome wal- i let in appreciation of his good work, j Mrs Biiiringer was also presented j with a Cabinet box of chocolates for J her good work in Drums, the winning j play at the recent festival. j
