PRESENTATIONS MADE The Littp' Theatre Players' drama league reading circle held the final reading at the home of Mr.and Mrs B. P. Bellringer. A. three act play, Sheppey, by W. Somerset Maugham, was read. Opportunity was taken:at the gathering, which was of .a most merry nature, to make presentations to two members of the circle. For her fine performance in the winning plav. Drums. Mrs Bellringer was presented with a cabinet box of chocor lates. Reference was made ,to her work on behalf, of the circle which, said Mr N.' 11. Moss, in making the presentation, the members appreciated greatly. Thanks were also due to • Mr Bellringer for his work as, pro ducer. Mr Moss also made a.-presen-tation of o. wallet to the circle secretary, Mr S. W. Shcppard, who .has. received notice "of his transfer'to Dunedin. He paid tribute to the ser : : vices rendered by the secretary &W remarked on his value as an active'. member M the circle.
