Mr and Mi's James Syme, of Glasgow, Scotland, leff by the mail train this morning for Wellington en-route to the Melbourne centenary. They have been making ?, short tour of New Zealand in the course of which they were the guests of Mr and Mrs Percy Thomson, Stratford. Mrs Syme is a cousin of Mrs Thomson and Mr Syme is a retired manufacturing engineer .
