Expressing the view that he had no doubt the plaintiff was entitled to damages, the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, :oday awarded Mrs Eunice Dickson, the widowed mother of Ernest Joseph Dickson £5 on her claim for £SOO against Frederick Hooker. Dickson was one of the four people killed when the car driven by Hooker went over a bank at Island Bay on April 1.
