PALMERSTON’S MAYOR Press Association.— Copyright. PALMERSTON N., March 11. A definite announcement that he was not seeking re-election at the forthcoming municipal elections was made by the Mayor of Palmerston North, Mr. A. J. Graham, to-day. Mr, Graham previously intimated this intention several months ago. Mr. Graham neither desires candidature as a city. councillor. Mr. Graham was elected to the borough council In 1918 at a by-elec-tion. During the term of Mr. F. J. Nathan as Mayor in 1925-27, Mr. Graham was appointed Deputy-Mayor, and in 1927 to his present position of Mayor.
