Pratten (Minister for Customs) is claiming £IO.OOO damages from the Labor daily newspaper in Sydney in respect to alleged libel. ** * * Dispatches from Karenko, Formosa, report a series of earthquakes on Sunday, doing extensive damage to buildings. There were no casualties. ** * * The Fuller Ministry has resigned I and the Governor has sent for the ! Leader of the Labor Party (Mr J. T. £,aTig), who will form a Ministry.
