(Received 10.30 a.m.) London, July 15. At the wool sales there was animated competition for all qualities.. Americans are keenly competing for good crossbreds. Prices are unchanged. T. I. LA MASON’S WEEKLY REPORT. Last Saturday my usual weekly sale was held, when a very good entry of various lines were submitted, prices being satisfactory to both vendors and purchasers. I quote as follows:—liens (old) Is 7d to 2s, pullets 2s 9d to 3s 6d, roosters 2s 6d to 3s, geese 4s to 4s 6d, turkey hen (small) 2s 6d to 3s, cauliflowers 3s to 4s per doz, carrots 2s 6d to 3s, parsnips Is 6d to Is 9d per bag, snares in Stratford Dairy Co. 7s, potatoes 9s to 11s, cabbages 2s 6d’to 3 S 6d per doz., furniture and sundries at usual auction rates.
