Signor Caruso is appearing at Co,vent Garden Theatre, and critics agree | that his voice has altered, hut has I gained in softness what it may have ; lost in volume.
Signor Caruso, generally acknowledged to be the finest tenor of the present day, started life as an engineer. He appeared for the first time in his native city of Naples. He is also well known as a clever caricaturist.
