IMMIGRANT SHIP ASHORE. WARSHIP TO THE RESCUE. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] tUNTTTirn PiIFPP Ao«ncrnTT'v>J..l (Received 8.40 a.m.) Brisbane, May 2G. The steamer "Waipara from London, with 3-50 immigrants, is badly ashore on Hauuibal Reef, to the southward of Thursday Island. An attempt to tow her off failed. The warship Fantom and other vessels have gone to her assistance, taking supplies for the immigrants.
