The heavyweight championship profession! boxing match between Williams (holder) and Lowe (Gisborne) resulted in Williams giving up in the eleventh round. The lightweight professional content, after going the full fifteen rounds was declared no contest. A. C. Maxwell, formerly of New Plymouth, is to meet A. Bromwick, once of Paeroa, in a light-weight professional boxing contest at Taumarunui on Monday evening.
